James Head

James L. Head of Helena, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at the age of 78.  Mr. Head retired from Fidelity Information Systems and was a member of Hunter Street Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his father (Albert) and mother (Louise) and is survived by his wife, Winnie, his two daughters, Tina Boutwell (Lance) and Tonya Lewis (Kevin), and his brother, Ron Head (Beverly).  Mr. Head is also survived by his four grandchildren, Natalie, Kristen and Cole Boutwell and Kendall Lewis.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Hunter Street Baptist Church chapel, Hwy 150, Hoover.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Hunter Street chapel, with Rev. Buddy Gray and Rev. Brian Hinton officiating.  Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.  Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.  In Lieu of Flowers, please make donations to Hunter Street Baptist Church, or the charity of your choice.
