James Harman

HARMAN, JAMES HARVEY of Dadeville, formerly of Hoover, crossed over on Friday, January 14, 2011, at the age of 78. He was a graduate of Auburn University in 1957 and was the retired owner of Harman and Associates. He was an active member of Sardis United Methodist Church in Dadeville. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Edna Harman; 3 children, Leigh Ann Watkins (Wayne), Jay Harman (Deborah) and Heather Martin (Willie); 4 step children, Linda Hulon (Wayne), Marsha Ieronimo (Giuliano), Steven Hughes (Kay) and Perry Hughes (Tina); 4 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren; a brother, William E. Harmon (Lois); and 2 nephews. The family will receive freinds on Monday, January 17, 2011 from 10 to 11 a.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hoover. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Steven King officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
