Mr. James Dwight Clark, of Birmingham, passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the age of 68. Dwight was born and raised in Montgomery, AL. He was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa at the University of Alabama and graduated with a BS in Business Administration in 1968. In 2011, he retired from his position as Corporate Credit Manager from Consolidated Pipe and Supply. He enjoyed coaching Little League Baseball, woodworking, and was an avid Alabama fan. Dwight was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and was a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Clark; 2 sons, James Todd Clark and Mathew Tyler Clark (Terah); a daughter, Stacy Clark Heller (Paul); 2 grandchildren, Annabel Rose Heller and Brylie Harper Clark; several close relatives and many friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 from 10 to 11 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Greg Foust officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arthritis Foundation.
