James Chapman, Jr.

James Austin Chapman, Jr. of Brookwood, Al, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the age of 56.
Jim grew up in Pelham, Alabama and was a graduate of Pelham High School. He was a skilled carpenter and an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting and fishing. He enjoyed Alabama football and NASCAR. He was a loving father and grandfather, his greatest joy his family.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James Austin Chapman and Sandra Kelley Chapman, his brother Sammy Kelley Chapman and his nephew, Brantley Payne Burnett. He is survived by his daughter, Erica Chapman (Jeremy) Carter, grandsons, Camden Alexander and Colton James Carter, and sister, Tami Chapman Burnett. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews, Daniel (Leann), Easton, Laken, Emma and Kathleen Burnett, Brooks Barrett and Samantha Chapman.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 10 to 11 AM at Currie- Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be at 11 AM with interment following in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
