James Boone, Jr.

James Thomas Boone, Jr. “Jim”, of Hoover, AL passed away on April 6, 2021. He retired from Bruno’s in 1995, and in his retirement years he enjoyed his lifetime hobby of fishing, visiting with family and loved traveling around the world with his wife, Caroline.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Tyree Boone; and parents, James and Pauline Boone.

He is survived his by wife, Caroline Boone; daughter, Lisa Ashcraft (Andy); son, Jim Boone (Teresa); 6 grandchildren, James, Pamela, Lindsay, Ashley, Kelly, and Joseph; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the chapel.
