Jacqueline Storey

age 77, of Greene County, Alabama, died August 8, 2008 at DCH Regional Medical Center. She was a native of Jefferson and Shelby Counties until 2003 when she moved to Greene Co. Jackie was a devoted mother and grandmother, and faithful to her church. She graduated from LPN school in 1969, and retired after 20 years of service from Brookwood Medical Center. Jackie was preceded in death by her husband James Douglas Storey, parents Thomas Franklin Friday and Minnie Hamilton Friday, and sisters Margaret Friday Sargent and Tommie Frank Friday. Survivors include children, Pamela Sterling (Jim) of Greene County, Jan Hyche (Jerry) of Greene County, and James Storey (Cathy) of Hoover, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, sisters Betty Jo Friday Buttram (Roy) and Minnie Lou Friday Morgan (Robert). Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, August 11, 2008 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Hoover, Alabama, Rev. David Tennyson of Northport Church of God officiating. Pallbearers will be her grandsons and great grandsons.
