Jacob Wooten

Mr. Jacob “Jake” Wooten, of Birmingham, AL, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014, at the age of 25. He was a graduate of Spain Park High School. He was a very kind, loving and giving person. He was the caregiver to his 93 year old grandmother. He was always willing to give a hand to anyone in need. He cut and delivered firewood to the Birmingham area and had a lawn care business.
He is survived by his parents, Lee and Debbie Wooten, brother, Cliff Wooten (Anna), grandmother, Alberta Bearden Wooten, uncles and aunts, Brad and Anita Phillips, Barbara and Steve Powell, aunts, Frances Vibbart and Brenda Rodgers, a number of cousins, and many friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday, August 16, 2014, from 1-2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Pell City Animal Shelter.
