Iris Smith

age 77, of Vestavia, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2006. She was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church for more than 40 years. During her life, Mrs. Smith enjoyed painting and bowling. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Louis H. Smith; 2 sons, Michael Smith (Donna) and David Smith (Allison), both of Pelham; 1 daughter, Robin Quinn of Richmond, VA; 12 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00, Monday, November 6, 2006 at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover. The funeral service will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Hoover on Wednesday at 10:00, November 7, 2006, Msgr. Paul Rohling officiating. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Directing.
