Idamae H. Stover, of Birmingham, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016, at the age of 92. She was a lifelong resident of Birmingham, AL, and a graduate of Birmingham Southern with a degree in English. As a person who loved books, her favorite job was working at the Birmingham Library. In addition, she was president of the Women's Auxiliary for Hannah Home and gave countless contributions to other charitable organizations. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all who knew her.
She is survived by her son, Mark Foxworth (Heather); her daughters, Jan Christina Walker (Kevin R) and Laurie Parson (James Van Buren); her grandchildren, Jessica Lyn Walker, Matthew R. Walker (Candace), Zachary B. Walker, Jennifer Veitch (David), Amanda L. Parson (Jeff), and Kimi Wehby (CJ), Josh, Colt (Ashley), Jacob, Jo and Eli Foxworth, and her great-grandchildren; Jack, Davie, John David, Michael Brandon, Kaylea, and Mackenzie.
The family will receive friends on Friday, July 1, 2016, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, from 1:30-2:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel.
