Howard Williams

Mr. Howard Kimble Williams, age 86, of Trussville, AL, passed away Monday, February 13, 2012. He was a Marine veteran of WWII where he fought at Iwo Jima. He was a retired electrical foreman with Allied Products and Alpha Portland Cement. He was a member of Old Chapel United Methodist Church in Wilsonville and an avid fisherman and hunter who loved to coach little league baseball. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Myrtle Morrison Williams, three sons; Roddy Williams (Cathie) James Williams (Gail), and Carl Williams (Faye),a daughter; Marjorie Crittenden, eight grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, February 17, 2012, from 12-1 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
