Horacio Tabares

passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2008. In 1961 Mr.Tabares came to this country from Habana, Cuba where he worked in the banking industry. Here in the US he was employed for 12 years with Bruno's Incorported and at the time of his retirement he was the Assistant Treasurer. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 40 years, Nena Tabares and their son, Horacio. He is survived by nieces, Hilda M Sullens (David), Emma Cerice, and Teresa Suco (Jose) nephews; Jorge Morales (Alina), Miguel Antonio Abascal (Delia Maria), all of the niece's and nephew's children and grandchildren; sister in law, Charro Loredo and all of her thoughtful children; Nancie Holland Tabares, wife and partner for 13 years, and for always a special loving and caring friend. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 17, 2008 at 10:00 am at Saint Peter's Catholic Church, 2061 Patton Chapel Road, Hoover. Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
