Hilda Sullens

Mrs. Hilda M. Sullens, of Hoover, AL, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2015, at the age of 71. She was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. She retired from Southtrust Bank after 44 years of service as Assistant Vice President. She was born in Cuba, came to America when she was 16 and became an American Citizen.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, David Sullens; two sons, John-David Sullens (Christy) and Mark Sullens (Angela Levan); eight grandchildren, Amber Hartline, Tyler Sullens, Emily Sullens, Mark Edward Sullens, Jasmine Sullens, Maya Sullens, Blake Sullens and Jordan Stevens; a great grandchild on the way; several nieces and nephews and extended family.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 29, 2015, from 9-10 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be at 10 AM. A graveside service will follow at 1:15 PM at Alabama National Cemetery.
