Hilda Freeman

of Hoover, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2008, at the age of 85. Mrs. Freeman was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sydney Garwood Boger and Zora Payne Boger. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, James Elvis Freeman; a son, James Elvis Freeman, Jr.; a daughter, Joan Freeman Crossett (George Donald); four grandchildren, Timothy David Freeman, Tina Lynn Freeman, Karen Crossett Braddock, and Tracy Crossett Montgolf (David); and seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday, September 15, 2008, from 12-1 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel, with Dr. Richard Trader officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
