Hershal David Bradford Funeral services for Hershal David Bradford, 71, of Auburn, Ala., will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, 2010, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home of Birmingham is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Bradford, beloved husband of Betty Bersot Bradford, died Thursday,Aug. 12, in Auburn, Ala. Born March 16, 1939, in Bessemer, Ala., he was the son of Hershal and Robbie Bradford. He was a faithful gospel preacher for over 50 years in Calera, Ala., Cortez, Fla.,Murfreesboro, Tenn., Fairfield Highlands, Ala., Calgary in Alberta,Canada, Chattanooga, Tenn., Auburn, Ala., and Cullman. Other than his wife, he is survived by his children, Hershal David Bradford II, Danna Bradford and Allison Bradford Hosey; their spouses,Laveda Bradford and David Hosey; his grandchildren, Hershal David Bradford III and Jude Hosey, his sisters, Doris Isbell, Myra Marshall;their spouses, Leonard Isbell and Robert Marshall. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
