Herbert Cooke, Jr

Mr. Herbert E. Cooke, Jr., age, 89 of Pelham, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2011. He is a member of Raleigh Ave. Baptist Church. He was retired from US Steel after 30 years of service. He was preceded in death by his son, Herbert E. Cooke III. He is survived by his wife of 66 years Marjorie Cooke; one son, Michael W. Cooke (Sharon); three grandchildren, Heather Mills, Matt Cooke and Catherine Cooke; great grandchild, Ellison Mills; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 11 AM at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 AM on Thursday.
