Henry Murphree

of Homewood, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2005, at the age of 84. He retired from ACIPCO after 45 years of service, and was a member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church. Mr. Murphree was an Army Veteran of WWII. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Louise Murphree; two sons, Grant Murphree, III, of Birmingham and Lee Murphree (Kathy), of Hueytown; two grandchildren, Lori McGriff (Dale), of Hueytown and Lee Murphree, Jr., of Hueytown. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 6, 2005, at 2:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Amedisys Hospice Care, 2204 Lakeshore Dr., Suite 110, Homewood, AL 35209. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
