Helen Doney

DONEY, HELEN, of Bessemer, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2009, at the age of 76. She was a member of Morgan United Methodist Church where she was active in The Fellowship Sunday School Class and Sally Stevens Circle. Mrs. Doney was a loving daughter and sister. She was preceded in death by her father, Veston Stewart. She is survived by her mother, Shelby Armstrong of Bessemer; two brothers, Bobby Stewart (Mildred) of Orange, TX and Charles Stewart (Virginia) of Pearl, MS; one sister, Brenda Harris (Everett) of Bessemer; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 10, 2009, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Hwy 150 in Hoover. Funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 PM, Rev. Ron Echols and Rev. Mike Stewart officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
