Hazel Walker

Hazel Imogene Walker, 84, of Birmingham, AL passed away on March 31, 2019 at her home surrounded by family.   Mrs. Walker was born on July 27, 1934.
Mrs. Walker is survived by her husband of 62 years, Marvin Thomas Walker, sons Roland (Tracie) Walker, Carl (Jennifer) Walker, grandsons Christopher Walker, Jason Walker, Brandon Walker and Cade Walker and a multitude of wonderful and loved nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry Reeves and Laura Phillips Reeves, siblings William Hoyt Reeves, Dortha Mae Reeves Robins, Aubrey Thomas Reeves, James Howard Reeves, Lester Franklin Reeves, Mary Loraine Reeves Drake Gilbert, Ellen Genevieve Reeves Walker and Porter Bass Reeves.
The family will receive friends from 10-11, Thursday, April 4, 2019, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150 in Hoover.  Funeral service will follow at 11:00 in the chapel.
The family of Mrs. Walker sends a special thank you to Audrey and Allison for their loving care of Mrs. Walker in her home for the past several months, UAB Highland Hospital staff with special thanks to the ICU staff, and the staff of Kindred Hospice.
