Harvey Wyatt

Harvey O’Neal Wyatt age 81, passed away on March 9, 2022, in Vance, AL. Harvey Wyatt was born on August 10, 1940 in Chilton County, Alabama to CC and Lessie Wyatt and was then raised in Shannon, Alabama. He served in the US Army from 1963-1965. His career was an outside sales rep for Corn Brothers, Quaker State, Wyatt Oil Company, and WH Thomas Oil for over 45 years.

In 1967 Harvey married the love of his life Joan Patricia Davis. Together they had 3 children, Michael Neal Wyatt, Jeffrey Ray Wyatt, and John David Wyatt.

He is preceded in death by his parents Clifton and Lessie Wyatt; His son Michael Wyatt; His loving wife of 43 years Joan Wyatt. He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Wyatt and wife Katie; son, David Wyatt; grandchildren, Josh, Brodie, Zach, Kyden, Khloe, Allie, Lucas, Adalyn; brother, Harlon Wyatt and wife Margie; brother, Larry Wyatt and wife Susan; and loving nieces and nephews.

Harvey was best known for his outstanding personality, love for his family, his community, and his country. Harvey was a member of Morgan U.M.C. for 40 plus years and later joined The Baptist Church at McAdory. He loved hunting and fishing and the great outdoors. He will be truly missed by everyone.

Funeral services will be held at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Thursday, March 17. Visitation to start at 10 am with service to follow immediately after.
