Harry Ivey

Mr. Harry Donald Ivey,age 73, of Greenpond, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2010. He was retired from the US Air Force after 20 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Charlotte Ann Ivey; six sons, four daughters; 13 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Alabama National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 19, 2010 from 6 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
