Harold Heerssen

age 50, of Hoover, went to be with the Lord Monday, August 28, 2006. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Melinda Taylor Heerssen; a daughter, Lauren Heerssen Davis (Joel) of Birmingham; a son, Scott Anthony Heerssen of Tuscaloosa; his parents, Harold and Ann Heerssen of Roswell, GA; his parents-in-law, Zack and Alice Taylor of Big Canoe, GA; a brother, Kerry Lane Heerssen, Sr. (Sandra) of Sugarland, TX; 4 sisters, Debra Heerssen Shippey (Bruce) of Bremen, GA, Patricia Heerssen Walker (Greg) of Corpus Christi, TX, Kim Heerssen Tolleson (David) of Roswell, GA, and Stacey Lynn Heerssen of Roswell, GA; and 18 nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:00 - 2:00 Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Hwy 150 in Hoover. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m., Dr. Bob Flayhart officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Serving as pall bearers are Mr. Robert Tingle, Mr. Dan Pennington, Mr. Joe Long, Mr. Al Hester, Mr. Kerry Heerssen, and Mr. Doug Moore.
