Harold Hart

Mr. Harold J. Hart, 82, passed away on January 29, 2020. Harold worked as an Auto Mechanic, service station owner (Union 76), and a Snap on Tool Dealer. He served in the U.S. Army in 1957-1959 and retired as a school bus driver for the City of Hoover. He was very active in his church, Hoover First United Methodist Church, especially his Men's Group, and enjoyed fishing with his son at Logan Martin and watching Alabama football.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Carol Hart; parents, George and Katie Hart; brother, Marvin Hart; and sisters, Mildred Lovvorn and Collen Brooks.

He is survived by his son, Nathan Hart (Karen); brother, Edward Hart; sisters, Elizabeth Hayes, Jessie Meeks, and Janice Loyd; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2020 from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover, AL. The funeral service will begin from the funeral home chapel at 3:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to his church, Hoover First United Methodist Church.
