Guthrie Hudson

Mr. Guthrie Hudson, of Birmingham, passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the age of 89. He was retired from U.S. Steel, Fairfield, Alabama after 30 years service. He was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Penny Hudson; his wife of 46 years, Jolene Hudson; a brother, James Hudson; and sister, Mattie Lee Mitchell. Survivors include his son, Danny Hudson (Helen); his daughter, Karon Davis (Paul); 4 Grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and brother, Wallace O Hudson (Willodene). Graveside service will be on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, Hwy. 150, Hoover with Fernandez Sims officiating.
