Greg Wagnon

of McCalla, formerly of Gadsden, went to be with His Savior on Monday, April 5, 2010, at the age of 61. Greg served as an elder or a deacon and a teacher for more than 40 years in various Churches of God of Prophecy and Churches of God. He was an avid sportsman, antique car collector, and Alabama football fan. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda Hull Wagnon; son, Michael Wagnon; sisters, Sheila Denney (Jerry) of Gadsden and Rebecca Talley (Billy) of Douglasville, GA; brother-in-law, Donald Hull (Louise); mother-in-law, Evelyn (Decker) Hull; sister-in-law, Donna Crawford (Micha) of Ringgold, GA; a number of special nephews and nieces; and God-given granddaughter, Kelsie Nelson of Gadsden. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 8, 2010, at Woodland Hills Church of God of Prophecy in Bessemer. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the church, Pastor James Wallace officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, Hoover, Alabama.
