Greg Vines

, of Hoover, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2008 at the age of 40 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a member of Double Oak Mountain Community Church. He was a loving father and husband. He is survived by his loving wife, Lana; two precious children, Lauren and Christian; his parents, Grady and Joan Vines; three brothers, Sandy Lemley (Barbara), Skip Vines (Renaldi), and Ronnie Vines. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 2, 2008 from 5-7 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Highway 150, Hoover. Funeral service will be held Monday, November 3, 2008 at 11 am at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home chapel. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. Randy Overstreet officiating. Donations may be made to Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Zion, Illinois.
