Gracie Littlefield

of Hoover, passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at the age of 89. She was born in Chelsea, AL and lived for many years in Lipscomb. Ms. Littlefield was an active member of Bluff Park United Methodist Church and the Hoover New Horizons. She was retired from Sears Roebuck and Co. where she had worked in the credit department. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robbie Littlefield. Ms. Littlefield is survived by one son, Deon Littlefield (Jill), of Hoover; three daughters, Martha Stewart (Ron), of Lenox, MA, Bobby Jo Ashworth (JIM), of Hoover, and Carol Hamlin (Wayne), of Hoover; four grandchildren, Jillian Littlefield, Matt Hamlin, Stuart Ashworth and Jeff Littlefield; 2 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 18, 2005 from 6-8 pm at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel with Rev Reid Crotty officiating. Interment will be in Highland Memorial, Bessemer.
