Grace Ingle

Grace Borders Ingle, aged 74, passed away on February 17, 2025. She was a beloved mother, wife, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Grace was born on September 7, 1950, in Carbon Hill, Alabama, where she spent her formative years. She went on to attend the University of Alabama and later became a Systems Administrator at Regions Bank. Throughout her career, she was known for her hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others.

But more than anything, Grace was a devoted mother. She loved spending time with her children, sharing stories, playing games, and watching their favorite TV shows. She was always there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement, no matter what challenges they faced.

Grace enjoyed sewing and cooking and was always eager to share her knowledge and enthusiasm with others. She persevered through tough times and was a loving care giver.

Grace is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Gene Ingle; parents, Leroyce and Susie Borders; brother, John Borders; sister, Linda B. Allen; and granddaughter, Lia Marie Gagliano. She is survived by her sons, Matthew Ingle (Harmony) and Kevin Ingle (Morgan); daughters, Amanda Gagliano (Nick) and Holly Roupe (Steven); grandchildren, Nicholas Gagliano, Diana Gagliano, Sofia Gagliano, John David Gagliano, James Ingle, Andrew Ingle, Adam Ingle, Michael Roupe, Nora Grace Roupe, and Hannah Claire Roupe; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.

A private funeral service will be held for family and close friends at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover on Friday, 2/28/2025 at 1pm central. Public viewing will be 1pm-2pm with graveside service at 2pm.

We are asking everyone to either consider donating to the Humane Society or the National Breast Cancer Foundation in honor of Grace Ingle or send flowers/plant as options.
