Gordon Sprouse Sr.

Gordon Earl Sprouse, Sr., 86, of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, went home to be with the Lord at 4:40am on February 14, 2020.

Gordon is preceded in death by his parents, William and Della Sprouse and his sister Betty Lou Williams. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Sprouse, his children, Gordon Sprouse, Jr. (Carol), Lisa Kiser (Mark), Lori Carballo (Antonio), Lynn Blackwell (Bob), grandchildren Zachary Falkner (Rachel) and Matthew Agree (Kacy), great-grandchildren Zeke and Hattie Agee and Fiona Falkner, and his brother James Everett and his family.

We are grateful to the Lord that our Dad impacted many lives and loved his wife and family dearly. His death brings a permanent void in our lives, but we look forward to seeing him again in Heaven.

A private ceremony will be held on Monday, February 17, 2020 at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home & Jefferson Memorial Gardens South. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Parkinson’s Foundation or your local animal rescue/shelter.
