Gordon Hirschberg

of Vestavia Hills, passed away on January 20, 2005, at the age of 71. He was the grandson of Michael Henry Hirschberg, former Chief Justice of the New York State Supreme Court. Mr. Hirschberg was a retired Publishing Sales Rep for Houghton Mifflin Company and was a member of the Chace Lake Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Sally Hirschberg of Vestavia Hills; a son, Scott M. Hirschberg (Halle) of Manhattan, NY; a daughter, Deborah Eisley (Jeff) of Livonia, MI; two grandchildren, Collin and Meghan Seneski of Livonia, MI; and two brothers, Stuart Hirschberg (Diane) of San Diego, CA, and Michael Hirschberg (Edith) of Sarasota, FL. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 25, 2005, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Father John Cruise officiating. Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home directing.
