Gloria Gamble

Gloria Ann Gamble, of Bessemer, AL passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022 at the age of 84. Ann was born to her late parents, Silas and Clara Leeman in Hartselle, AL on September 29, 1938. She graduated from Hueytown High School in 1957. She married her late husband Paul James Gamble on July 27, 1956 and they were active members of Community Baptist Church. She served the church in various capacities throughout her life and the church was her second home. She was a talented floral designer for more than 25 years and took great pride in her business, Pelham Florist. She was also an avid pianist for many years and loved playing in church and at home for her family.

Ann started each day by reading her bible and could direct you to almost any passage in the bible you needed. She had a powerful prayer life and was known as a prayer warrior among her friends and family. While we will forever mourn her passing, we rejoice in knowing that she has entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior as one of his most loving and faithful servants.

We are so proud as her family that she has left a legacy of love and faith in God to this world.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life of 37 years, Paul James Gamble. Ann is survived by her children, Mark Gamble (Susie) of Alabaster, AL and Kathy Akers (Danny) of Calera, AL. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Kris Palmer (Kristi), Justin Palmer (Kelly), Ryan Palmer (Kacey), Beth Register (Steven), and Tyler Gamble (Carrie). She also leaves behind 11 great grandchildren: Gavin, Katelyn, Jaylin, Sarah, Piper, Abbie, CJ, Colton, McKinsie, Blakely, and Brooks.
