Glenn Weaver

of Bessemer, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2005, at the age of 77. He was an elder with Bessemer West Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Mr. Weaver was owner of Weaver Land and Realty for the past forty years. He was an avid Doubles Tennis Player and long-time member of the Bessemer Tennis Club. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and cherished friend of many. Mr. Weaver is survived by his wife, Nelda Weaver of Bessemer; two sons Tommy G. Weaver (Patricia) of Shelby County, and Wm. Dale Weaver (Teyonah) of Bessemer; one daughter, Rhonda Weaver of Chattanooga, TN; three grandchildren, Bill Weaver, Sarah Spain and Jessica Murray; one great granddaughter, Madison Spain; three brothers, Kelsey Weaver (Marilyn) of Russellville, Harry Weaver (Carol) of Bessemer and Clark Weaver of Bessemer. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 19, 2005, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Currie Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2005, at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Marlin McGowan officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
