Glenn Bell

Glenn E. Bell, of Hoover, AL, passed away on June 6, 2016 after a brief illness at the age of 85.
He was born in Sterlington, LA and has left this earth and returned to be with the Lord.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Imogene Bell, two children Patrick Bell and his wife Denie, and Debbie Hall and her husband James and two granddaughters, Courtney Bell and Holland Hall. Nieces and nephews include Karen Morrison, Susie Brown, Emmett McDaniel, Beth Fearing and Kay Sewell.

Glenn retired after a long career with South Central Bell. His passion after retirement was working with Senior Adults at Green Valley Baptist in Hoover, woodworking and fishing.

The family will receive friends, Wednesday, June 8th, 2016 from 1-2pm at the funeral home, with funeral services led by Marion Eubank following at 2pm, in the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel on Hwy 150.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those who desire can make a contribution to the charity of their choice or to Samaritan's Purse in his name.
