Glenda Littleton

Mrs. Glenda Littleton, age 51, of Bessemer, AL, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012. She was a faithful member of Grants Street Baptist Church in Bessemer. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who was kind hearted and always put others before herself. She always proclaimed Jesus to everyone she met. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael, a granddaughter, Asia, and a son-in-law, Kyle Scaia. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Danny Littleton, three daughters; Christina Littleton, Felicia Milton (Billy), and Amber Littleton, a brother, Larry Knight (Christy), two sister; Brenda Day (Chuck) and Beverly Littleton (Roger), eleven grandchildren; Michelle, Aaron, Anden, Daniel, Alexuas, Jacoby, Destinee, Skyler, Kayla, Trey, and JT, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, March 9, 2012, from 12-2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Service will be at 2 PM with Brother Johnny Lawrence officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. God saw you were getting tired And a cure was not to be. So he put His arms around you And whispered "come to me" With tearful eyes- We watched you And saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, We could not make you stay.
