Geraldine Majors

Geraldine Majors, 75, of Hueytown, Alabama was called to her heavenly home on January 11, 2023.  Geraldine or “Dean” as people would call her was all about her faith in Jesus, her family that she adored, the friends who made her life special. Geraldine was also all about food, and boy did she know how to cook! All who knew Dean knew she could whip up something to eat in a minute’s time.

Dean loved Alabama football and fishing with her “Doll”. Geraldine took care of so many people in her life, and has left a legacy of love and faith.

Geraldine is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Majors; parents, Ernie Moody and JR Humphryes; siblings, Carlton, Benny, Marlene, Karen, Buddy and Diane

Left to cherish Geraldine’s memory are her brother, Gary; “Girls” whom she loved so much, Regina and Rhonda, and they loved their mother and were her caregivers in her last days. Geraldine also loved her “Boys”, Tim and Doug, who could do no wrong and she would laugh at how they would do anything for her and could do no wrong in her eyes.  Geraldine loved her Grands and was so proud of each of them and was never ashamed to tell anyone about how grand they were, Josh, Sabrina, Abby, Gary, Emily, Jonathan, Ella Grace; and those Great Grands were the apple of her eye, Hartleigh Kate, Hadley, and Kennedy, and Geraldine was thrilled about waiting on Oliver’s arrival, but God had a different plan and our mother isn’t suffering anymore.

I can only imagine Geraldine, our precious mother,  is in Heaven trying to cook up a feast.

The family of Geraldine will receive friends from 11:00AM-12:00PM, Friday, January 13, 2023, at Currie Jefferson Funeral Home, with Funeral services to follow.
