FAVREAU, GERALDINE S. (WICK) 11/2/2009 1 ---------- text below ---------- age 68, of 1388 Al Seier Rd., Hoover, Alabama, formerly of Gardner, Massachusetts, died Sunday, November 1, 2009, following a battle with cancer. Born February 5, 1941 in Gardner, Massachusetts, daughter of Waino and Alice (Peckins) Wick who preceeded her in death. Survived by her two daughters, Ginger Holden May of Royalston, MA and Linda Holden Brennan of Athol, MA; her companion of 15 years, John W. McBrayer of Hoover and his sons, Matthew and Mitchell; one sister, Dorothee S. Reynolds of Ft. Meyers, FL; three grandsons, Benjamin T. May, Sean F. Brennan and Shea E. Brennan, all of Massachusetts; and her beloved Dachshund, Ginger. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mildred Binnall in 2004. She was employed at Homegoods in Hoover until her retirement in August 2008. She also enjoyed working as a Tour Director within the U.S. and abroad. Visitation will be Monday, November 2, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one's favorite charity or to the Greater Birmingham Humane Society.
