George Loyd

It is with great sadness that the family of George Lee Loyd announces his sudden passing on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at the age of 69.

George is survived by his loving wife, Penny Loyd; son, Phillip Loyd (Shannon); stepdaughter, Lindsay Zannis (J.C.); and grandchildren, Jason, Brandon, Eli, Tessa and Andi. He will also be fondly remembered by his mother-in-law, Leona Hand (John); and sisters-in-law, Jan Waller (Richard) and Kay Hodo (John).

A celebration of George’s life will be held on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 1:00 pm with a service directly following at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
