Gene Grissom

November 24, 1920 — June 12, 2014

Mr. Gene Thomas Grissom, of Hoover, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2014, at the age of 93. Gene served his country in the US Navy during WWII. He retired from NCR after 35 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Joyce H. Grissom; 2 daughters, Jan Teater (Glen) and Kathy Thout (Gene); stepson, James H. LeVaughn; 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and a sister, JoAnn Milam (Louis).
The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00, Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Hwy 150 in Hoover. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, Jim Profetto officiating.
