G. Baggett

Mr. G. Edward Baggett, age 87, of Hoover, AL passed away Sunday, January 8, 2012. He was retired from Union Carbide Corporation. He was a Army veteran of WWII and a member of Shades Mountain Independent Church. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Mary Katherine Baggett, a son, Ed Baggett, Jr. (Jeanie), 2 brothers; Julian Baggett and Nicholas Baggett, 3 sisters; Christine Cranford, Shirley Ann Reddy, and Gladys Porter, and 2 grandchildren; Kimberly Montanari (Michael) and Chad Baggett. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 14, 2012, from 10-11 AM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home with funeral services following at 11 AM. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Amedisys Hospice, 2204 Lakeshore Parkway Suite 160, Birmingham, AL 35209.
