French Iii

Mr. French Robertson White, III, of Birmingham, passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at the age of 63. Originally from Corpus Christi, TX, he had been a resident of Birmingham for the past 19 years. French graduated from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, then served his country in Germany. French was an active member of Lakeside Baptist Church and his greatest joy was studying the Bible. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Elizabeth; 2 daughters, Carina and Lea; a sister, Mary Parvin; his in-laws, George and Kathleen Bannister; sister-in-law, Deborah May; and 2 nephews, Jonathan and Benjamin May. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 10 to 11 AM at Lakeside Baptist Church. A Memorial Service will follow at 11 AM at the church with Dr. Richard Trader officiating. Interment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association.
