Frank Slay

Mr. Frank Slay, of Bessemer, passed on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the age of 78. He attended Troy State University and University of Alabama and loved Alabama Football and Golf. He loved the Lord and the Bible. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was employed for 7 years by Metro Mini Storage. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Chris Slay; step-son, Jason Langford; grandson, Van Langford; son, Ben Slay; daughter, Deborah; a brother, Wilson L. Slay; and a number of nieces and nephew. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 15, 2012 from 2 to 3 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy. 150, Hoover. Graveside service will follow at 3 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South with Rev. Herman Cowan officiating.
