Frances Whitehead

Frances Dawson Whitehead, of Montevallo, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012, at the age of 77. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist #1 in Jemison. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Whitehead, and her parents, Paul and Nell Dawson. She is survived by her daughter, Cathy Connor (Tom), three brothers; Bob Dawson, Clyde Dawson, and Tommy Dawson, a sister, Sue Stringer, two grandchildren; Jarred Connor (Jessi) and Chad Connor (Special friend, Lauren Liveoak), and two great grandchildren; Emma McCluskey and Savannah Connor. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 24, 2012, from 6-8 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at 11 AM at the funeral home with Reverend Doug West officiating. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
