Frances Hereford

Frances Hereford, of Birmingham, was called to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 3, 2019, at the age of 81. She was formerly of the Bessemer and Hueytown area, and retired from US Steel. Frances loved gardening and playing bridge, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Hereford; and a daughter, Valerie Hereford.

Frances is survived by 2 sons, Scott Hereford (Cindy) and Mark Hereford (Tracy); 1 daughter, Lauren Wilson (Bill); 10 grandchildren, Justin, Taylor, Stephen, Caitlyn, Mary Ashley, Christina, Reed, Jenna, Claire and Rob; and 2 sisters, Linda Reynolds (Richard) and Sharon Owen.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October, 6, 2019, from 1-2 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover. The Graveside Service will follow at 2 PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South, with Rev. Robert Mercer officiating.
