Frances Elliott

Mrs. Frances Farley Elliott, of Vestavia, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at the age of 86. She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church where she was Kindergarten Director for decades. She was born in Dale Co. and then moved to Birmingham and worked for Bell South. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Farley; her son, Stephen Farley; and daughter in law, Cindy Golden Farley.

She is survived by her husband, Sam Elliott; one daughter, Lynn Gray (Don); two grandchildren, Mary Dru Farley and Matt Gray; a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 15, 2016, from 1-2PM, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home. The service will follow at 2PM in the Chapel. Brother Cory Varden and Brother Allan Murphy will officiate. Interment will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.

In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to Philadelphia Baptist Church.
