Foster Turner

of Hoover, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2008 at the age of 12. Fosty attended Bumpus Middle School, and his passion was Motocross racing. He was an up-and-coming champion of the sport he loved, already having proved himself as a racer with the wins he had under his belt. Fosty was a compassionate, loving boy with a "smile bigger than the moon." He will be dearly missed by friends, family, and his extended Motocross family. He is survived by his parents, Michael David and Susan Turner of Hoover; brother, Zachary Michael Turner; paternal grandfather, Larry Turner; paternal grandmother, Alison Yeackle; and maternal grandparents, John and Anne Marie Schilleci. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 23, 2008 from 6-8 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home in Hoover. Funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Monday, March 24, 2008 in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
