Evan Thomason

Evan Thomason, age 10, of Helena, AL, passed away September 22, 2011. He was a member of Riverchase United Methodist Church and in Cub Scout Troop 367. He participated in choir at church and school. Evan was an honor student and on the broadcast team at McAdory Elementary. In his spare time, he was an avid reader, a Lego architect and a proud member of the Auburn Football Family. He was an ideal son and a wonderful brother. Evan is survived by his parents, Andy and Melissa Thomason, brother, Adam Thomason, grandmother, Lynn Thomason, grandfather, David Shuford, a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and many friends. In honor of Evan, a reception will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2011, from 6-8 PM at Riverchase United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
