SEALES, EUGENE T. 1/9/2010 1 ---------- text below ---------- of Bessemer, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2010, at the age of 83. He was a member of South Crest Baptist Church and was retired from UAB West Hospital. He is survived by a son, Tommy Seales; a daughter, Brenda Warren (James); 3 grandchildren, Kevin Beck, Chad Warren and Kristie Grimaud; 7 great grandchildren, Madison, McKinley and Macey Beck, Katie and Jared Warren, and Micah and Cameron Grimaud; three brothers, Joe Seales, Jr., Bill Seales and Jim Seales; three sisters, Velma Carter, Madge Pettit and Evie Balch; a host of nieces, nephew and other family members. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 9, 2010, from 5-8 PM at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2010, at 2:30 PM at South Crest Baptist Church, with Rev. Scott Bush and Rev. Carl Benedict officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
