74, of McCalla, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2012. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Smithson; five children, Jeff Smithson (Donalise), Regina Spradlin (Marlon), Allan Smithson (Lisa), Kathryn Shelton and Jarrett Jackson; one grandson, Jeremy Smithson (Ashley) and two grand daughters, Heather and Stephanie Jackson; one brother, Donald Smithson. The family will receive friends on Monday, November 19, 2012 from 10am until 11am at the Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home Chapel with services to begin at 11am. Interment will be in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
