Esker Kennedy

July 2, 1923 — May 11, 2012

Ms. Esker Kennedy, of Vestavia, passed away Friday, May 11, 2012, at the age of 88. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Lindeneau; her son, Jeff Kennedy; grandchildren, Candace Smedley, Brent Nelson, Sam Kennedy, Vincent Kennedy, and Nick Kennedy; great grandchildren, Chase and Cole Smedley, Lucy Nelson, Kayla, Nolan, and Sara Kennedy; and her sisters, Mildred Steel and Kathrine Dobson. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM, Sunday, May 13, 2012, at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home, Hwy 150, Hoover. Funeral service will follow at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South.
