Emma Driggers

Emma Marie Driggers, 86, of Birmingham, AL went to be with her loving Savior on Thursday, January 28, 2016. She enjoyed her early morning walks with her son, Jacob, at the Galleria. She also loved cooking and shopping. She was a long time member, of forty years, of the First Baptist Church of Hoover. She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Bertha Brashier and her brother, Herman Ivan Brashier. She is survived by her husband, of sixty-five years, Arthur, and her son; Jacob Johnson. She is also survived by her sister; Joyce (Jerry D) Willis and sister-in-law; Robin Brashier. She is survived by three nieces; Pam (Wes) Priborsky, Cindy Jones, Tyra (Dee) Cutcher and one nephew; Michael (Kim) Brashier. She is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews; Maggie and Ryan Priborsky, Wesley (Jill) Jones, Darin Jones, John Thomas Jones, Justin and Derek Cutcher and Andrew and Rachael Brashier. The visitation will be held at Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home on Monday, February 1, 2016 from 10:00am-11:00am and a Graveside Service will follow at 11:00am at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, South in Hoover, AL. with Dr. Randy Atkinson officiating.
