Emily Ward

Emily Pinyerd Ward went to be with the Lord on Sunday May 15th, 2022. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister.

She was born in Huntsville, AL on June 28th, 1963 where she later met her husband, Joe Ward. They wed in Huntsville, AL where they had their sons Caleb and Luther Ward. She is survived by her husband Joe Ward, sons Caleb Ward and Luther Ward, and brothers John and Mark Pinyerd. She is preceded in death by her parents, Warean and Carl, and her brother, Cap.

Emily was a beloved teacher and coach at Briarwood Christian School. She was passionate about coaching, swimming, and teaching others about having a relationship with the Lord. She was strong in her faith and loved her family and friends dearly.

1:30pm Graveside Service (Family) @ Currie-Jefferson Funeral Home

3:30pm Memorial Service @ Briarwood Presbyterian Church
